The Kaskaskia Cowboys are a Cowboy Action Shooting Club affiliated with the Single Action Shooting Society (SASS) since 2007. We shoot at the Illinois Department of Natural Resources WORLD SHOOTING ( & Recreational) COMPLEX (WSC) located in Sparta, Illinois off HWY 4 and west onto County Road 18. We shoot ONCE a month on the 2nd SATURDAY. (Note:There will be NO 4th SUNDAY SHOOTS from December 2008 until after the State Shoot in May 2009)
Our MATCH FEES are $ 12.00 per shooter
Registration starts at 9:00 AM and
shooting begins immediately after the shooter/safety meeting.
The 2nd SATURDAY match (5 Stages) start time is 10:00 AM
We shoot 3 stages, break for lunch, and then shoot the remaining stages.
Lunch is available at the WSC, is ordered at registration, and cost $5 per shooter.
EYE and EAR PROTECTION is required for ALL shooters and spectators.
